About tkbcLocated in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Tyrannus Korean Baptist Church is a church that worships God and proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ.

About EMWe are an English-speaking Ministry, and our worship services are in English. We sing (hymns and praise songs) together, pray together, and hear God speak to us through his Word, the Bible. We baptize new believers to receive them into our family of faith, and we observe the Lord's Supper together for the remembrance of our Lord Jesus Christ, for spiritual nourishment, and for the proclamation of his death until he returns.
We are currently a small congregation, but we hope to continue to grow into a church that welcomes all people in which they may experience the peace and love of God! |

Pastor Jun Lee
|
Even as God had opened the door towards ministry, Pastor Jun Lee sought this calling with much prayer.
Following God's will, Pastor Jun pursued his biblical and pastoral training at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL and completed the Master of Divinity program.
He received his pastoral ordination in 2007 and started his senior pastor role at Tyrannus Korean Baptist Church - the very church where he received God's call to ministry.
Having Ezekiel 47:1-12 and Mark 3:13-15 as the Scriptural foundation for God's vision for ministry, he is joyfully running with the Lord to lead Tyrannus toward growing into a church that
God has graciously joined him with his wife Eunsook Lee, and God has blessed them with two daughters (Minji and Minnie) and one son (Sam).
